Speakers Available for Large and Small Events
Kris has developed a reputation as a “doer”. After spending a lifetime building things, he was faced with his ultimate renovation project on December 23rd of 2005. Kris’s son Blake was killed in a car accident just outside of Hays, KS. This tragedy left Kris in a state of Crisis, the Foundation he had spent a lifetime building simply made little or no sense to him.
After spending years as a business entrepreneur and successfully reaching Goals, Kris found himself being suffocated by Guilt & Regret. After leaving the life behind that he was comfortable with, he began a search to create a new Shelter. Nothing about this search has been easy, but following his inner instinct to share, write and speak from the heart, Kris has discovered a Trust he never imagined.
Kris’s presentations and workshops are 100% from the heart, in the moment and filled with his life story of struggle after the death of his son and eventual second divorce. He will share his successes and failures by attaching his story to the walls of the birdhouse.
Kris is currently an Assistant Professor of Construction Management at Fort Hays State University.
